Olmsted Conference at Stanford University - March 27-28

Frederick Law Olmsted Jr., John Charles Olmsted's brother and business partner, did a large part of the firm's work in California. His work there influenced the firm's work in Washington state and this National Association for Olmsted Parks symposium is an excellent opportunity to learn more about Olmsted design principles and how they were realized in a number of landscapes and how the Olmsted Brothers' work shaped public attitudes toward land use and conservation.

The symposium, Frederick Law Olmsted Jr.: A Vision for the American West, will be held at Stanford University March 27-28, 2014. For more information about the symposium agenda and registration, go to the NAOP web page.
