This walking tour will be followed by our annual meeting and potluck, which all are welcome to attend. On the tour, learn about the Olmsted Brothers’ design of the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition in 1909 and experience its lasting legacy, the central axial green of Rainier Vista.
We will meet in the plaza behind (south of) Anderson Hall on the UW campus. If you’d like to bring anything for the potluck, please show up a few minutes early to drop that off in Rm. 22 in Anderson Hall. The walk will last approximately 2 hours.
You may contact friends@seattleolmsted.org for questions about this tour.
